We already know a lot of details about the LG 2023 TV lineup, and in this article we are going to show you the features of the new models that we know so far. There are a number of important new features for this year, but as we’re about to tell you, the big news is the introduction of the new META OLED panel.
Below we show you the information about the LG 2023 TV lineup that have been released. As we learn more details, we will add them here.
Updates new series 2023
Before we take a closer look at the new models, let’s take a look at the main new features of the new LG 2023 TVs.
Scheme of the new LG 2023 TV series
Thanks to LG OLED evo self-luminous technology and the new exclusive alpha9 AI Gen6 processor, the new models offer more brightness and colour accuracy, as well as impressive clarity and detail.
Brighter OLED panel: New panel with microlenses.
This year’s evo G3 OLED series also features LG’s Brightness Booster Max technology, which increases brightness by up to 70% thanks to a new micro-lens brightness control architecture. This OLED MLA (Micro Lens Array) panel combines a pixel-by-pixel brightness control algorithm, resulting in much more realistic images with DCI-P3 over 100%.

6th generation α9 picture processing engine
Thanks to LG’s self-luminous evo OLED technology and the new 6th generation α9 processor, the new models offer improved brightness and color accuracy, as well as impressive clarity and detail.
This latest version of the Alpha 9 processor uses specialized AI-based deep learning technology to deliver outstanding picture and sound quality. AI Picture Pro offers advanced scaling for sharper images and includes OLED Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro, which helps bring out hidden details to add depth to any image.
This technology divides the image into 20,000 blocks and analyzes each block in real time to identify the darkest and brightest areas and accurately optimizes HDR for a more immersive user experience. In addition, HDR Expression Enhancer is a processing technique that identifies and refines the most important objects in each scene, such as the subject’s face, to provide a higher quality, more three-dimensional look through deep learning-based tone mapping.
In addition, this processor is also capable of processing 9.1.2 virtual surround sound from the built-in speakers for a more expansive sound.
New G3 series anti-glare filter
The new anti-glare filter added to the G3 series significantly reduces visual distractions such as glare and reflections so you can enjoy your content even in bright environments.
Below, we take a look at all the series that LG is launching for this 2023.

Differences of the new OLED TV series
The new OLED range consists of the Z3, G3, C3 and B3 series. Finally, there will be no OLED A3 series, so the most affordable series disappears. This was a series with a 60 Hz panel and a lower quality sound, so it was not seen as a high-end product and this is perhaps the reason why the company has eliminated this series and give the feeling that OLED TVs are high-end TVs and top quality.
On the other hand, there is the OLED M3 model, whose availability has not yet been confirmed, and which is characterized by having the connections in a wireless box. We would be talking about something similar to what Samsung has with its One Connect box, but in this case without the need for a cable that goes from the box to the screen. This way you would have a cleaner space with no cables.

This M3 series most likely won’t be seen until next year, although there may be a surprise and launch later this year after the IFA electronics show.
Below, we show you the features and differences of LG’s new 2023 OLED TVs.
OLED Z3 Signature
LG OLED 8K 2023 Z3 series with evo panel
The flagship of this 2023 is the OLED Z3 with 8K panel, which finally incorporates the new META panel that at first it seemed only the G3 series would carry. As we have seen, this new META panel adds a layer of convex microlenses that helps increase brightness to brightness values up to 70% higher than conventional OLED series such as the B3 and up to 30% more than the C3 with Evo panel. That yes, only the 77-inch version, the 88-inch unfortunately does not carry this layer of microlenses, so it carries an Evo OLED panel similar to the C2, but in 8K in this case.
Microlens layer of the new 2023 LG OLED Z3 8K
Despite the fact that 8K has not yet taken off, the Korean company is launching this model for those who want to make the leap to this resolution.
It incorporates the most powerful processor of the company, as is the Alpha 9 AI 8K 6th generation. We are talking about a very powerful processor that uses artificial intelligence to manage image details. Although 8K content is still minimal, fortunately, as we have seen in the past, the company’s Alpha 8K processor scales well with lower resolution sources.
Fortunately, the price of 8K OLED models has been dropping every year, and this year’s price is expected to be slightly lower than its predecessor, but it is still a TV intended for users with a very high budget.
It is available in 77″ and 88″ sizes. The design differs depending on the size and is that in 77″ comes with a support of two legs at the ends, while in 88″ comes with a support in the form of furniture.

OLED G3
LG OLED G3 with Microlens Panel – LG 2023 TV lineup
Until the availability of the OLED M3 is confirmed, the top 4K OLED for 2023 is currently the OLED G3. This model incorporates, as a great novelty, a new panel called META, which, as we have seen, significantly increases the maximum brightness that the TV can deliver.
In this new panel, convex microlenses have been added, inspired by the way dragonflies see in 360º. These microlenses are microscopic in size and help improve light emission.
New OLED MLA panel in Z3 and G3 series
They also use a new algorithm that controls light in real time to increase light output. The combination of this new microlens technology and the powerful META algorithm enables the G3 OLED to achieve luminance peaks of up to 2100 nits. This is a spectacular number and much higher than last year’s G2 model. Keep in mind, however, that this number is achieved at certain times and in the brightest picture settings. When used in more correct image modes, the brightness is estimated at around 1500 nits, which is still impressive.
LG has also improved the problem of reflections with a new coating called “Vanta Black”.
New G3 OLED series with META OLED panel
As in previous years, this G3 series is designed to be hung on the wall and comes with an included bracket. This bracket allows you to leave it completely glued to the wall and thanks to the thickness that it has, the truth is that it looks spectacular.

There is no desk stand included, but you can buy a stand separately, either the official LG stand or a compatible generic stand.

OLED C3
LG OLED C3 with Evo panel – LG 2023 TV lineup
Below is the C3 series, which is sure to be LG’s best-selling OLED model, as it has been for the past few years. It is a TV that still maintains an incredible picture quality similar to the G3, but with a lower brightness level.
It features the evo OLED panel, which achieves a higher peak brightness and more accurate colorimetry than conventional OLED panels like the B3 series we’re about to see. This is due to the introduction of a new green OLED layer that makes it possible to increase the brightness of the panel. At the same time, new materials are used in the red and blue layers to optimize color frequencies for purer and more accurate colors.

However, the brightness remains at a figure close to 900 nits, which is very good, but far below the figures of the G3. The processor is still the most advanced as it is the Alpha 9 6th generation.

OLED Lifestyle models
LG has also recently launched a range of OLED TVs with a minimalist and unique design. All of them have an OLED evo panel that guarantees high picture quality, but they also offer a very elegant design that fits perfectly in your home.
The models that make up this OLED Lifestyle range are the Easel, Posé and Flex series. Below we introduce you to all the features of the new LG 2023 OLED Lifestyle TVs.
New range of LG OLED Lifestyle TVs
OLED Easel
LG OLED Lifestyle Easel TV
We begin with the OLED Easel series, which has a spectacular and very eye-catching design. This model has a fabric cover that slides up from the remote control itself. This cover can be folded between different positions, reducing or enlarging the visible part of the screen. Of course, seeing it in action is visually very attractive.
This LG Easel is also designed to be placed against the wall at an angle of up to 5 degrees, making the whole thing another design element to add to the most elegant and minimalist living rooms.
In terms of picture quality, this is an OLED TV with an Evo panel. The 5th generation α9 image processor, which is what the high-end 2022 models were carrying.
Its sound system is not far behind and includes 5.2 channels with 80W of power and is compatible with Dolby Atmos.
For now, the LG OLED Easel has only been released in a 65-inch version.
OLED Posé
New LG OLED Lifestyle Posé TV
The LG OLED Posé Lifestyle, has a different style, thinner and more elegant, perfectly blends with the decor of any room and adapts to any space and position. It has an easel-style support through which you can pass the cables to keep them hidden.
Like the LG Easel, it features an Evo panel and 5th generation Alpha 9 processor.
It is available in three sizes of 42, 48 and 55 inches.

Although you can use it for any content, it is mainly focused for use with video games. For this, it comes with all the gaming features like HDMI 2.1, VRR, ALLM, a very low input lag and the Game Bar and Game Optimizer.
Furthermore, it is equipped with an evo OLED panel, a 5th generation Alpha 9 processor and webOS 22 operating system.

LG 2023 QNED TV lineup
While many details are still to be confirmed, we do know the references of the new QNED series. The QNED86, QNED82, QNED81 and QNED75 series are confirmed. No major changes are expected compared to last year, so we would say that the QNED86 is a mini LED model with Quantum Dot and NanoCell technologies. The QNED82 and QNED81 series would no longer use Mini LED backlighting but Edge LED, while still using Quantum Dots and NanoCell.
Finally, the QNED75 would be the most basic model and, pending confirmation, has a 60 Hz panel instead of 120 Hz.

The entry level for 2023 is the UR91006, UR81006, UR78006 and UR73006 series. Here, technologies such as NanoCell or Quantum Dot are no longer used, and the Alpha processor is no longer used, so there are significant cuts in the picture.
